Your UPC™ Win32 zip file (bottom) will decompress into an ADVANCE directory tree.

1. Decompress the zip source file into a separate, empty directory with a utility which will retain the embedded path information.
2. Make a separate, permanent archival copy of the ADVANCE folder and its contents.
3. Move the original ADVANCE folder and its contents to your base component installation directory. This copy will be installed.

   Note that the C++Builder™ headers and source of your BDS2006 contents apply to Delphi™ 7-compatible C++Builder™ work with the installed Delphi™ 7 package.

The Install Packages Dialog. You must have the Borland Developer Studio 2006 C++/Delphi version of Ultimate Page Control Suite™ to install to Borland Developer Studio.

1. Open the Install Packages Dialog with the Install Packages tool or the Install Packages option of the BDS2006 Delphi™/C++Builder™ Component Menu.
2. Click the Add button.
3. Browse to the installation instance of ADVANCE_UPC_Pkg.bpl, select ADVANCE_UPC_Pkg.bpl, and confirm installation.

Installing ADVANCE_UPC_Pkg.bpl from either the Delphi or C++ personality should make the package available to both personalities when a form or form contents are selected (this is a behavior of BDS).

The Environment Options dialog.

1. To verify that the path to your package installation has been correctly added to your Library Path, click Tools | Options or the Environment Options Toolbutton to open the Environment Options dialog.
2. Select the Library tab (Delphi 7™) or Library option (Borland Developer Studio 2006™) and verify that the path to ADVANCE_UPC_Pkg.bpl is appended to your library path statement.
3. If your package folder is not appended to the library path, click the ellipsis buttons and use the BrowseForFolder dialog to locate and append your package folder to the library path. In Borland Developer Studio 2006™, check both the Delphi™ and C++ personalities.
